Landen and I headed to Rapid River on July 3rd, and Steve and "the boys" left when Steve got home from work. We were anxious to get to Rapid River because Landen's friend, Luke Larrabee, was at his grandparent's house and they haven't seen eachother since Christmas. It was so much fun to see them together even if Landen was on the aggressive side! He yanked Luke's plug out of his mouth and then ripped it off his shirt...twice! Anyway, here are some pictures of them...

On the 4th we headed down to the Johnson Family Cottage for a party. It was also my sister Patti's suprise 4oth Birthday party. We got her good! The best part was that she bought stuff for the party, made food, and even put a new floor in the cabin. The weather was wonderful and everyond had a good time. Here is a picture of her cake.

Patti got a lot of instant lottery tickets from her party and gave my dad and Phil each one to do. They sat there for at least 30 minutes scratching. It was wonderful...so QUIET!
Landen's 1st time in his frog pool...he loved it!
Landen had so much fun in this little bike at the cottage. My Aunt Lillian saved it from her daughter Judy, so if it looks old to you that's because it is! I didn't think he would be able to make it move, but he did. He did have problems in the sand, but he still had fun!

When we got back from Larrabee's Auntie Julie was waiting for us. She took Landen outside and put him in the grass. He hasn't touched the grass since the day he was on the lawn mower with dad, and he didn't like it much. However, he didn't seem to mind it here. However, in the 2nd picture he was trying to get the grass off his hands!

This is Landen's 1st time in my parent's pool. He didn't mind it at first, but once my sister put him in his floating thing it didn't take him long to start crying.
