We went to Marquette on Thursday for doctor's appointments for B & B. Brayden was first, meeting with an orthopedic surgeon for his legs. All in all nothing has to be done right now but we go back at 18 months. After that appointment we went to Applebee's for lunch and my cousin, Emily, joined us. Needless to say that was quite the adventure and we probably won't be going out to eat anytime soon! After lunch it was back to the doctor for Brody's heart murmur. The doctor diagnosed it as an innocent murmur and we don't need to go back for another year! WHEW ~ what a day. To make the day a little shorter we went to Rapid River for the weekend, but Steve had to go back home alone :( However I don't think he saw it as a sad thing :)
While at Grandma's & Papa's house Brody & Brayden had their first ice cream cone. It was quite the experience to say the least. Brayden ate his cone from the bottom up and Brody often picked the ice cream with his fingers instead of licking it! It was definitely something we should have done before baths but we didn't...Oh well!
Landen & PJ (No comment on PJ's face)
One morning when I came downstairs my mom had the boys sitting in her chair together drinking their juice. I was trying to get a nice picture, but it was obvious the TV and their juice were taking priority over another picture.
This past week the twins have really started to talk. We still can't understand them, but we somehow figure out what they want! Landen continues to talk non-stop and has quite the imagination to say the least! It seems he says something new everyday and we are often surprised at how much he knows! His new phase right now includes Scooby-Doo. He loves watching it and LOVES to solve "mysteries". His current mystery is trying to solve who ate all the cheese. I'm not sure where he got that from but it keeps him busy. The twins continue to entertain us. They love playing with eachother and Landen, but when one has a toy the other one wants look out! Their favorite foods right now seem to be spaghetti, lasagna, goulash, and meatballs. Brody LOVES fruit and cottage cheese, but we have to be careful when we give him cottage cheese...Landen often gags at the sight of it! Brayden loves a variety of foods, but isn't too fond of a lot of fruit. He does like bananas and pears, though. We are looking forward to company over Thanksgiving and I may even take the plunge this year and go shopping the day after Thanksgiving!
