Week-end in Rapid River

Landen and I went "home" this past Thursday. I had a conference in Marquette on Friday so my mom watched Landen. Everybody was so excited to see him since most of my family hadn't seen him since Easter. Within minutes of pulling into my parent's driveway Auntie Julie came then Uncle Robert, Hayden, and Logan and then Ashleigh. They were all excited to see him crawl. I was a bit emotional with my family seeing him crawl for the 1st time...crazy isn't it? On Friday Grandma Carol and Grandpa Wally came over for a visit along with Auntie Patti, Aunt Sara, Samantha, Aunt Monnie, Conrad, and Auntie Lillian.

On Saturday Landen and I went over to my friend Danielle's house, actually her parents house, to visit. She hadn't seen Landen since he was a few weeks old so it was nice to catch up and visit with her for a little bit. Steve also surprised us by coming to Rapid River after work. Our godson, Caleb Adams, had his first communion on Sunday so he went to that in Bark River. I stayed behind and went to church with my family in Rapid River since my niece, Ashleigh, was getting confirmed. Thankfully Landen was extremely good in church.
