Trip to Milwaukee

Brayden has been seeing an orthopedic surgeon in Marquette every six months since he turned one, and for peace of mind I decided to seek a second opinion.  He was very bow-legged when he started walking, but that has since improved, but his feet turn in.  It is amazing that he doesn't fall when walking or running!  When he stands his feet are straight, but as soon as he takes off they turn in.  So I called Green Bay and was told that they send all their toddlers to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee so I called and made an appointment.  We left this past Thursday for his Friday appointment.  This would be Brayden's 1st time spending the night in a motel and it will probably be a long time before it happens again!  All in all, he was really good, but I couldn't imagine having Brody, too.  Thankfully Auntie Patti drove us (Ashleigh, PJ, Landen, & Brayden) and we made it to and from safely!  Brayden wasn't too fond of the elevator at the hotel.  Going down wasn't as bad as going up.  To get the full jist of it you need to watch the video I uploaded to my facebook...HILARIOUS!!

The doctor pretty much said they same thing as Marquette - wait and see.  He said that we could put him in braces but the end result would probably be the same.  He recommends waiting another 6-9 months and see where he's at at that time.  I'm glad we went and Brayden did extremely well in the car...no puking!! 

On the way back Auntie Patti dropped us off at Chuck E Cheese's while she ran some errands in Green Bay.  Brayden had never been there before and didn't know what to think at first.  It took him awhile to warm up to the place, but once he did he was all over the place.  Naturally Landen was all over the place, too, but his favorite thing to do there is ride the little cars.  He also climbed up in that tunnel thing which he never has before.  My baby is growing up :(

All in all it was a good trip and Grandma & Papa didn't know what to do with only 1 kid to look after.  Once we arrived back in RR it didn't take long to go down hill!!!
