Happy Halloween!

We weren't going to take Landen trick-or-treating, but after talking to a couple moms who were going to be taking their toddlers Steve and I decided to take Landen. We already had a costume so that wasn't an issue we just didn't want Landen to have any candy or ourselves for that matter. However, we decided to take Landen to a few houses and we had a good time. Here is Landen before we left...

Our first stop was at the Brees's. Their granddaughter was here from Minneapolis and she is 2 months younger than Landen. She looked so cute in her elephant costume. Here are Miley and Landen. Aren't they cute?!?!

After that we went to Vivian's house. Her sister Joyce lives behind my parent's in Rapid River. Vivian sent us across the street to the Cogswell's and I'm glad she did. They have a little boy that is 2 months older than Landen so it looks like Landen will have a playmate in the neighborhood afterall. We also stopped by Peg Younk's house, a lady on Steve's mail route, on our way to the Shiner's. Mr. Shiner is my principal and Halloween is his favorite holiday. This is a graveyard with former Lion head coaches & quarterbacks on the tombstones. My principal is in the ground. You can see him in the background with a red shovel. Landen wouldn't get down to walk over to him, but he didn't cry.

After leaving the Shiner's we went to the Kolbus's. They have a little girl who is 5 and a little boy who is 9 months old. Here are some pictures of Landen and Jordan.

After that we went home, ate supper, and went back to the high school for the carnival. We didn't last long because Landen got scared and that was the end of him. One of my students scared him, but it wasn't his fault Landen walked over to him and when Tyler said something to him he got scared. Anyway here are a couple pictures of Glen Guilbault with his son Hayden and Steve and Landen. Glen teaches at the high school with me.
This is a picture of Landen as we were pulling into the garage. Hopefully he sleeps good tonight!
