There are a lot of people that live by us that have kids they same age as ours so I thought it would be fun to have a little cookout at our house. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very nice and a lot of people had prior commitments so it ended up being fairly small. However, the boys, yes there were only boys at my house, had a good time playing and so did the adults! It was EXTREMELY hard to take pictures of them because they were simply too busy to stand still for pictures. So this is all I got!
Brayden, Brody, & Rylan

Kyle & Landen

This was pretty much the 1st time Landen has played with other kids and he did fairly well, however Steve said he needs to play with them more often so he toughens up! There were only a few breakdowns...taking time to stop and eat, accidentally getting hit in the face (Landen) and when it was time to go home. I can't forget about Rylan and Brayden, though. They were playing in the tent in the living room and Rylan likes to bite. So Brayden got bit on the forehead and left a pretty good red mark, but by the next day it was fine. It is kind of funny because Brayden tries to bite Brody all the time with some success so now he was on the receiving end this time and found out that it really does hurt! Brody had his issues, too. He did not like the other kids coming near him or touching him. As soon as they got near him he would start crying, the holding your breath cry that I'm not very fond of. However, downstairs in the playroom he was fine with everybody, but upstairs in the living room he didn't like them. I started to give the twins a bath before everybody left and when Hayden and Kyle came in to say goodbye to them Brody did the same thing. He started crying and stood up in his bathtub seat wanting me to pick him up. It didn't take long though and he was enjoying his bath again. All in all it was a lot of fun and we'll have to do it again!
Later that night I noticed there was a deer in the field next to our house so Steve had to take a picture of it. It pretty much drove Buster nuts and he wanted out really bad! The deer stood like this for a very long time before leaving.
