It's hard to believe but the twins turned 9 months old on Thursday! Where has the time gone. I wasn't sure how we were going to get through everything, but we've managed just fine. My mom and dad came up on Friday so they could go with me to their 9-month check-up. We dropped my dad and Landen off at Grandma Judy's and Grandpa Phil's in Ripley. Landen hadn't seen Linzy in a really long time and PJ was also there so Landen had a good time. He also needed a haircut so Grandpa Phil gave him one. My mom came with me and the boys to their doctor appointment. Their pediatrician was pleased with the progress they are making and thankfully we have 2 healthy baby boys! Here are their stats...Brody - height 28.5 inches (50th percentile), weight 20 lbs 12 ozs (50th percentile), head 45.5 centimeters (60th percentile). Brayden - height 29.5 inches (90th percentile), weight 24 lbs 5.6 ozs (95th percentile), head 47 centimeters(90th percentile). They still aren't too fond of #3 foods and will occasionally puke, but they usually just gag. Surprisingly Brody does better on them than Brayden. They do not get any table food at this time nor do they get any milk products. Since Brayden has an allergy to milk-based formula the pediatrician wanted us to stay away from all milk products and to make things easier we won't be giving any to Brody. They ABSOLUTELY hate to have their diaper changed or get dressed in the morning or after baths. It often takes two of us to get these things done. They both can shake their heads "no" and do the "bad cough", but only Brody has gotten the "bye-bye wave" down and "so big". They love to copy each other and we love to watch them do this. They also love to play with each other and also love to play in general. They especially enjoy when somebody sits on the floor and plays with them. They are both starting to walk along furniture and Brody has taken a couple steps but that's it. Brayden can stand on his own for awhile, but hasn't taken any steps yet. We aren't encouraging this at all!
Here are some pictures from when my parents were here.
Papa + Landen = Priceless

Landen was so tried this day. He went to school with me and fell asleep on the way home. I carried him in and gave him to Papa and he slept like this for as long as Papa's arm allowed.

Yesterday Landen was outside playing and we aren't really sure what happened, but he came to the door with Buddy's poop all over him...GROSS! Needless to say he went straight to the tub!

Today Steve and I took Landen to Jim Peck's Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua. We had just as much fun as Landen did! When we first got in the park there were goats all over the place. Landen immediately wanted to get out of his stroller so he could pet them. I put .50 in this machine to get food and this is what happened...

I couldn't believe this goat. Needless to say we didn't get to feed them this time! Landen loved the baby ones!

The goats were also very curious...sniffing out everything in the stroller. I noticed this sign after the fact.

Doesn't it look like this one is looking up at me and smiling? This is right after he had his nose in our stroller.

Huge Turtle

As close as Landen would get to it.
