4th of July Weekend!

Like last year we had another 4th of July get together at my parent's cottage. The weather was wonderful and of course the food was as well. Here are some pictures from the day.

Overall, it was a great day and Landen couldn't have been any better. He took a little nap in the cottage which was a good thing considering he didn't go to bed until 1:00 a.m.

On Sunday we took all of our leftovers to my Aunt Sara and Uncle Ron's house for another family/friend get together.

The big hit of the day was the bean bag game. It was rarely not being played and when it was empty it didn't take long for teams to form!

Landen loves to go for rides on anything and soon had Uncle Gerry taking him for rides on the golf cart.

When Uncle Gerry was done it was Papa's turn...However, Papa didn't go as fast as Uncle Gerry!
Aunt Sandy also took Landen for a ride all around Rapid River and put Landen to sleep. Although it was late in the day for a nap, Landen showed he needed at least a half hour. This picture is also the 1st picture with Scott. Landen and Scott met for the 1st time on the 4th. The last time I saw Scott was when I was 6 months pregnant with Landen, and now I am 7 months pregnant with twins. The next time Scott comes home I guarantee I will NOT be pregnant!

Here is a picture of Aunt Sara getting ready to tell her famous joke. We have never heard it because she is always laughing so hard that she can never finish it. Uncle Ron finished the joke for her and also told some of his own. I recorded everyone's jokes, but they definitely aren't blog material!
