Landen has had a runny nose since last Sunday, but that was his only symptom. However, Thursday night things got worse. He started crying right before bed and I told Steve that it was going to be a long night and I was right. After school on Friday I took him to the doctor and sure enough he had an ear infection. Thankfully he slept through the night Friday night and was awesome in the car on the way to Rapid River. He had a runny nose and would occasionally rub his ears over the course of the weekend. When we arrived at my parent's house on Saturday my mom, dad, Patti, and Ashleigh came running out to get Landen. I felt like we were being attacked by vultures. Landen didn't make strange to any of them and was excited to see everyone. On Sunday we went to the Johnston's for a family get together. This was the 1st time that I met some of Steve's "little" cousins and the first time Landen got to meet most of them. Needless to say we all had a good time and the weather was wonderful. One of the highlights was when Grandma Carol brought out the popsicles. Landen has never eaten one on his own before, but he definitely told me he was ready to! Notice how he is holding his! He was a sticky mess afterwards!

On our way back to my house we stopped at the Larrabee's to visit. We haven't seen Ben, Carly, or Luke since last summer and it was also the first time meeting baby Will. Here are some pictures of our visit.
On Memorial Day we went to my sister Patti's house for a cookout. Here is a picture of Landen and Ashleigh on the trampoline. Landen couldn't get off fast enough!
