Bits & Pieces

On Monday Linzy, Landen, & I headed to Rapid River via Hancock for Landen's 15 month check-up. He gained 3 pounds and grew a half an inch in 3 months. The doctor said everything looked good and said Landen is a really happy little boy. However, she told me he is anemic so I had to start him on Poly Visol vitamins with iron. Landen is an extremely picky eater and gags on almost everything. For example, last night I put a little bit of frosting on my finger from my mom's coffee bread and tried getting it in Landen's mouth, however it ended up mostly spread across his face. He proceeded to gag and then threw up twice! Then this morning there was no way he was going to try any coffee bread. I tried again to get some in his mouth, but didn't. So when Landen was crying with his mouth open Auntie Patti stuck a piece in there and he LOVED it. He started clapping and ate a whole piece!

More exciting news...Linzy adopted a little girl from Missouri about a week and a half ago. She was 8 weeks old when Linzy picked her up from the airport in Appleton and so far she is a really good little girl. Here are a couple pictures of Grandma Patti and Grandpa Gerry holding Weezy for the 1st time.




We celebrated my dad's 72nd birthday on Monday. My sisters and their families along with my brother were all here so that was nice.

Uncle Jimmy wanted to take Landen outside when he woke up from his nap. Landen wasn't too sure about being in the deep snow, but didn't seem to mind walking around outside.
Landen was about to tip over and didn't like it!
